“Meet My Shelter Pet” Online Video Series Shows the Joys of Adopting Shelter Pets

The Shelter Pet Project has released a series of online videos highlighting the joys of adopting shelter pets. The “Meet My Rescue Pet” video series features shelter animals who have been adopted into their forever homes and their families sharing their stories.

The series was sponsored by The Humane Society of the United States, Maddie’s Fund and the Halo Pet Foundation.

The first video in the series features Paul Shaffer from “The Late Show With David Letterman,” his daughter Victoria and their four adopted dogs Riley, Jake, Echo and Rue:
