On June 26  Warner Bros. Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures present “Max,” a family action adventure from writer/director Boaz Yakin (“Remember the Titans,” “Fresh”). Max tells the story of a a precision-trained military dog, Beligian Malinois Max, who serves on the frontlines in Afghanistan with his handler, U.S. Marine Kyle Wincott. When things go terribly wrong on maneuvers, and Kyle doesn’t survive, Max is traumatized by the loss of his best friend and is unable to remain in service.
