Who Let The Dogs Out at BlogPaws

The stars from the Hallmark Channel’s show “Who Let The Dogs Out?” are back. The talented team of dogs and trainers from Natural Balance Pet Foods, including Tillman the Skateboarding Bulldog and Norman the Scooter Dog, tour the country looking for talented and inspiring dogs to share their stories.

Tillman, Norman and their crew visited Blog Paws 2012 in Salt Lake City last and shared their experience meeting bloggers and performing for the audience of animal lovers on their most recent episode. Blog Paws is the ultimate source for pet bloggers with a thriving online community and popular yearly conference. Attending Blog Paws has been a goal of mine since I learned about it in 2010 and I definitely plan on going this year. Delia and I can’t wait to meet the bloggers we’ve gotten to know online and to learn all we can with what Blog Paws has to offer.

I enjoy “Who Let The Dogs Out” because it showcases talented dogs and inspiring stories. The skills that are shown are amazing and the dogs are given a place to shine. The inspirational stories, such as the background as to how Tripawds.com was started, which was featured on the Feb. 8 episode. Jim and René Nelson’s dedication to their dog Jerry, how they dealt with his cancer diagnosis and founded a community to help others while truly living for the day is inspiring.

This particular episode also featured instruction on how to brush your dog’s teeth from Dr. Karen Halligan’s Ask the Vet segment. Very timely since this month is National Pet Dental Health Month and Delia and I are working on her nightly brushings again.

The Blog Paws segment was fun and packed full of information about the conference. It was great to see dogs and bloggers I’ve followed online featured on the show. Blog Paws offers so much opportunity for bloggers to meet, learn and enjoy a common interest. Our pets! I’m looking forward to connecting with other bloggers and learning all I can. My ultimate goal is to learn how to help homeless animals and promote rescue and adoption with blogging.
