52 Snapshots of Life Week 4: Dream
This is week 4 of the 52 Snapshots of Life photo challenge hosted by The Lazy Pitbull. This week’s theme is DREAM. This photo is actually a couple of months old, but it is the first thing I thought of when I saw this week’s theme. 52 Snapshots of Life Week 3: Joyful
This is week three of the 52 Snapshots of Life photo challenge hosted by The Lazy Pitbull. This week’s theme is Joyful and Delia’s play was indeed joyful. Not only for her, but I can’t help but feel joyful watching her play so happily. For the first time in weeks, the weather was warm enough for Delia to play outside this past weekend. This week’s theme for the 52 Snapshots of Life photo challenge is: Music. Dancey Delia Delia and I have the same taste in music. I discovered this shortly after I adopted her. As we were driving home from work I noticed her “dancing” in the back seat. When she gets excited she moves her front feet up and down, then stands on her back legs and wiggles her bottom, which looks like she’s dancing. She’ll do this for treats, her ball, and some music. We have been trying recipes from The Honest Kitchen’s Made With Love recipe book. For Delia’s Halloween treats, we made the Gluten-Free Halloween BonBons featured in the book. The recipe was easy and quick to make and Delia LOVES them. This recipe book is full of healthy recipes for dogs, cats AND people. DIY Paw Print Pumpkin Fall Decor
Carved pumpkins aren’t just for Halloween. I like to incorporate a pet-themed pumpkin into our Halloween and fall decorating,and my favorite decoration is my paw print carved craft pumpkin. This year, I decided to add both real pumpkins and artificial carvable craft pumpkins. I created a paw print template in PicMonkey using their Design feature and paw print Overlay. I sized the paws to fit the pumpkins, saved the image, re-opened the image in a photo editor, and printed. It was super easy and customizable.
