The Honest Kitchen’s Newest Recipe: Revel-Review and Giveaway
The Honest Kitchen has debuted a new recipe called Revel. Revel is made with healthy human grade ingredients like free range chicken, flax seeds, organic barley, carrots, bananas, and potatoes. Delia is a super picky adult and Chewy is a growing puppy, so when I heard Revel was good for picky dogs and dogs at all life stages, I knew we had to try it. The Honest Kitchen sent us a 2 lb box of Revel for Delia and Chewy to sample and review. They both ate it without hesitation on the first tasting. Revel is easy to prepare by simply adding warm water to the dry mixture according to…

Frozen Blueberry Pro Bloom Instant Goat’s Milk Treats
During the hot summer months Delia loves her frozen treats. We have had high temps in the upper 90’s and a few 100 degree days, so cool treats were in order. Her favorite is blueberries mixed with Pro Bloom Instant Goat’s Milk from The Honest Kitchen. The Honest Kitchen Pro Bloom is a shelf-stable instant goat’s milk with digestive enzymes and probiotics. Delia’s a big fan of the flavor and I’m a fan of the fact that it is human-grade and made in the USA, and naturally free of pesticides, herbicides, growth hormones and antibiotics. Blueberries are tasty, low in fat, high in vitamin C and fiber, and contain healthy…

The Honest Kitchen Steamy Pups Review and Giveaway!
Last summer, when the heat was in the 100’s, Delia became a fan of The Honest Kitchen’s Ice Pups. Ice Pups are grain free treats for dogs and cats that can be mixed with water to create a broth that can be served frozen or as Steamy Pups served as a warm broth. During the frigid winter months, we relied on Steamy Pups to warm Delia up after a romp in the snow. First, we mixed the Ice Pups/Steamy Pups ingredient packet with 8 oz of water. Next, if we’re making Ice Pups, we freeze it in ice cube trays. If we’re making Steamy Pups, we boil 8 oz of…

Responsible Dog Breeders | Companies against Puppy Mills | The Honest Kitchen
Delia and I are fans of The Honest Kitchen and their healthy products for dogs and cats. I’m a fan of the fact that they refuse to sell their products to stores that sell puppies or kittens. Their article about Puppy Mills vs. Responsible Breeders is interesting to me. Anyone who knows me knows I’m against puppy mills and worked hard, and will continue to work hard, to spread the word about the horror that animals face in puppy mills. I was very “anti-breeder” for a while. In my work I’ve met a few breeders who have proven to be responsible, reputable breeders. As I get to know them, I’m…
