Frozen Blueberry Pro Bloom Instant Goat’s Milk Treats
During the hot summer months Delia loves her frozen treats. We have had high temps in the upper 90’s and a few 100 degree days, so cool treats were in order. Her favorite is blueberries mixed with Pro Bloom Instant Goat’s Milk from The Honest Kitchen. The Honest Kitchen Pro Bloom is a shelf-stable instant goat’s milk with digestive enzymes and probiotics. Delia’s a big fan of the flavor and I’m a fan of the fact that it is human-grade and made in the USA, and naturally free of pesticides, herbicides, growth hormones and antibiotics. Blueberries are tasty, low in fat, high in vitamin C and fiber, and contain healthy…

Sweet Pea’s Story-Part 4: Farewell My Sweet Friend, Until We Meet Again
“Sometimes, the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.” ~A.A.Milne June 18, 2014 my beautiful little Sweet Pea passed away. For 13 years I was blessed with her love and sweet friendship. She was such a funny little clown. She loved banging her colorful bells, destroying her foraging boxes and chew blocks. I loved watching her destroy a foraging box while tossing the paper shreds all over her cage and our living room floor. It’s hard to believe that she is really gone. I miss her terribly, and while I hope to be reunited with her someday, knowing I’ll never get another sweet kiss from her or…

The Honest Kitchen Steamy Pups Review and Giveaway!
Last summer, when the heat was in the 100’s, Delia became a fan of The Honest Kitchen’s Ice Pups. Ice Pups are grain free treats for dogs and cats that can be mixed with water to create a broth that can be served frozen or as Steamy Pups served as a warm broth. During the frigid winter months, we relied on Steamy Pups to warm Delia up after a romp in the snow. First, we mixed the Ice Pups/Steamy Pups ingredient packet with 8 oz of water. Next, if we’re making Ice Pups, we freeze it in ice cube trays. If we’re making Steamy Pups, we boil 8 oz of…

Pet Blogger Spotlight: Christina McNeair of Peace, Love and Whiskers
There are so many pet blogs I enjoy reading, and I often wonder about the people behind the blogs. Blog Paws was a great opportunity to meet fellow bloggers. Christina McNeair was one of the bloggers I met at Blog Paws. I’m a fan of her blog Peace, Love and Whiskers, so I had to approach her when I saw her. She is so warm and friendly, and her love for animals is heartwarming. I’m always interested in the how and why people get involved in whatever it is their passionate about. Christina was kind enough to answer my questions: What inspired you to blog about pets? I liked talking…

Meet My Rotten Dogs-Pet Blogger’s Gift Exchange
I love meeting bloggers that are “new to me,” and the Pet Blogger’s Gift Exchange is a fun resource for that. Pamela from Something Wagging This Way Comes and A.J. from I Still Want More Puppies co-hosted the third annual Pet Blogger’s Gift Exchange. Bloggers are paired with other bloggers to encourage one another and share each other’s work. This year I was paired with Rebekah of My Rotten Dogs. My Rotten Dogs is full of beautiful photos of Rebekah’s dogs Neeko, Bruce and Faolan that provide us with a peek into their lives. Rebekah’s posts on raw feeding caught my eye since I’ve been toying with putting Delia on…
