C is for Chewy
Today’s letter is…. for Chewy! Today marks one month since Chewy joined our family. He is a nine month old Lhatese and an absolute joy. It has been many years since I’ve had a puppy and he keeps me on my toes. The boy is aptly named. He will put anything in his mouth. We’re working hard on learning what is OK to chew and what is not OK to chew. I’m lucky in the fact that I can take him to work with me, so he spends the day playing with his friends at daycare. Daycare is great for socialization and exercise that puppies need. He is mastering housebreaking…

B is for Boxers
Today’s letter is… for… I didn’t know many boxers until I started working at A Howlin’ Good Time doggie daycare. There are several that come for daycare and boarding and it has been so much fun spending time with them and becoming more familiar with the breed. Boxers are such funny, energetic and affectionate dogs. Boomer. Ah, Boomer. I adore this guy. He’s the sweetest grumpy older guy you could ever meet. His raspy bark, intense glare, and sweet nuzzles melt my heart. Shasta is strong, quiet, and sweet. 52 Snapshots of Life Week 3: Joyful
This is week three of the 52 Snapshots of Life photo challenge hosted by The Lazy Pitbull. This week’s theme is Joyful and Delia’s play was indeed joyful. Not only for her, but I can’t help but feel joyful watching her play so happily. For the first time in weeks, the weather was warm enough for Delia to play outside this past weekend. Pooches in the Ballpark Recap
I was invited by Purina to cover the 2011 Pooches in the Ballpark event at Busch Stadium in St. Louis. Local adoption organizations were on site with adoptable animals and fans had the opportunity to bring along their dogs in their finest Cardinals gear. As the sporty pooches lined up for the parade, I made my way along the line to meet and photograph each dog. Then, we headed into the stadium and down to the passage leading to the field. Cards mascot Fredbird entertained the dogs and played a bit before hitting the field. The dogs were adorable. Everyone was so well behaved and so very curious about this…
