Our Pet Friendly Pumpkin Patch Adventure
Delia and Chewy joined their friends on a visit to Meert Tree Farm, a pet friendly pumpkin patch and corn maze just outside of St. Louis. Delia loves it there. She had her first pumpkin patch and corn maze adventure there a few years ago. This year, Chewy joined her for his first time. They were eager to pick out a pumpkin AND to earn their Corn Maze and Hay Ride badges for PupScouts!
We were happy that our friends could join us. Delia and Chewy adore them and they were the perfect partners for a day of fun in the pumpkin patch.
First, a hayride…
We took a hayride down a country road to the pumpkin fields and corn maze. Delia and Chewy were both content hanging with their buddies.
Freddy lives on the farm. He rode along on the hay ride with us. He’s an adorably gracious host.
The Pumpkin Patch!
When we made it to the pumpkin fields, they took off! Everybody was excited to find the perfect pumpkin for them.
On to the corn maze…
After everyone found the pumpkins they wanted, we headed to the corn maze. Delia is a corn maze pro, but this was Chewy’s first time, so he was really excited.
We might have gotten a little lost in the maze, and made a few horror movie jokes, but we made it out and everyone had fun!
We had a lot of fun at the farm with our friends. If you have a pet friendly pumpkin patch in your area, you should check it out. It makes for a fun fall activity to do with your dogs. I plan to make it an annual tradition for Delia and Chewy.

This is so cute and I love to see pumpkin patches that allow dogs. I never understand why not, especially in the corn maze. Do they think the dogs will do them better than we do?

This is one of our favorite activities! We typically take one or two of our dogs and the maze is fun but typically very muddy in Oregon. The pics of those two kids and the dogs are great – what FUN you all had!
