Our Pet Friendly Pumpkin Patch Adventure
Delia and Chewy joined their friends on a visit to Meert Tree Farm, a pet friendly pumpkin patch and corn maze just outside of St. Louis. Delia loves it there. She had her first pumpkin patch and corn maze adventure there a few years ago. This year, Chewy joined her for his first time. They were eager to pick out a pumpkin AND to earn their Corn Maze and Hay Ride badges for PupScouts! We were happy that our friends could join us. Delia and Chewy adore them and they were the perfect partners for a day of fun in the pumpkin patch. First, a hayride… We took a hayride…

Happy 6th Birthday Delia
My princess is 6 years old! Her birthday was March 31, but I’ve been ill, so we had to postpone her celebration a few days. We started the day by fetching her new teeny tennis ball in our back yard. Delia had sooooo much fun celebrating her birthday by fetching her new ball in the backyard today! Next…dinner and cake! ???????? #happybirthdaydelia #birthdaydog #Delia #bichonfrise #bichonbirthday #dogbirthday #dogsplaying #dogsofinstagram #dogstagram #petsofinstagram #birthdaygirl #birthday A photo posted by Lisa Bregant (@heartprintspets) on Apr 2, 2016 at 3:04pm PDT Then, we took the party inside for dinner and cake. Anatomy of a Well-Loved Ball
Delia loves her tiny tennis balls. A LOT. This ball has been retired for safety, and a fresh, new ball has taken its place.

Chewy Caught the Ball!
We decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and do what Delia loves best….fetch! Except today, Chewy was determined to get the ball before Delia… …and he’s off! He caught the ball!! He usually can’t keep up with her, but this time, they ran together! He decided to take it to the deck and chew on it for a bit. Delia: “You gonna let go of that ball, Chewy?” Chewy: “No, I think I’m gonna keep it.”

BlogPaws Nashville 2015 Recap
A few weeks ago we attended the 2015 BlogPaws conference in Nashville, TN. This was my second BlogPaws conference, but Delia and Chewy’s first. Flat Delia went to the 2013 conference, but it was much more fun with the real Delia! This trip was Delia’s and Chewy’s first long road trip and hotel stay. They did great! They mastered the elevators and knew how to find our room by the first night. Our room had a balcony and they enjoyed watching all of the other pets and bloggers arrive. I had originally planned on taking Delia to the educational sessions with me, but she was a little too excited by…

D is for Delia
is for…. Delia is my five year old Bichon Frise. She is a beautiful, funny, free-spirited little girl and I love her to bits. Let me share a few of my favorite qualities of hers: She’s an excellent rover reporter… She tolerates my shenanigans…costumes, lavender hair, dresses… She is a thorough and honest reviewer… She adores her Nannie (my Mom)… She is becoming a good big sister to her new brother, Chewy… She is my best friend and one of my greatest blessings.

Delia’s First Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze Adventure
Delia went on her first pumpkin patch and corn maze adventure. She is always happy to go on adventures, but the fact that her young cousin was going along excited her even more. As we waited for the hay ride to the pumpkin patch, Delia checked out the scenery. This one is a little bit too big. We finally made it to the pumpkin patch. “There are are pumpkins as far as I can see, Mom.” “I know I saw my cousin run into this corn maze. Which way did he go?” “I found him!” Off they go…. Catching her breath on the tractor after her run through the corn…
